excelent video, just bought my son the same repsol ym50re, nothing but problems for me, but worth the few days in between when he rides it. currently doing a complete strip myself as local bike mechanic is useless. About to try and remove the head tomorrow, as i found a piece of metal stuck between the "Timing Chain?" and head casing, causing it to seize( yes, I'm hoping we got lucky as looks clean(ish) in rest of engine). Just wondered if you had any tips before i commence and possibly destroy the bike, but hopefully you aren't too far away, so i can come and buy something reliably checked.lol. hope your still doing video's on the ym50-re, i'm just off to check out you channel.. thank you

But as soon as she reaches abit of an incline it slows right down to around 18mph she only weighs around 7 stone 🙈 she's 17 now and I was looking at derestricting .. Direct Bikes told me you can't because it voids their public liability insurance 🙄🙈😅

Does destriction give any more bottom end and faster pull away with more torque or just remove a speed limiter? Looking for my daughter. in my opinion peds are safer when they can pull away and join traffic quickly top speeds just a nice to have

Honestly to anyone thinking about one of these Yamasaki’s things don’t bother I spent over £2000 on one and it was unusable it was that slow I didn’t understand how badly they actually struggled and as with most Chinese manufacturers it’s quality is completely shite it pretty much blew up on me the bike started getting slower and slower then just shut off all together took it to the garage and was told the engine has pretty much packed in on me after 3 month waited til I was 17 got a Yamaha MT125 and had it seven month and not a problem
